During the summer months an Intensive English Language Course focuses on correct English Language
usage. This intensive English language course will provide students with the necessary skills to attend the
main course of study.
- 25 Weekly teaching periods
- 55 Minutes each teaching period
- All lessons are electives

NC ENGLISH I
This course is designed to develop the effective and appropriate
use of English for the purpose of communicating information in
both oral and written forms at a very introductory English stage.
NC ENGLISH IIThis course is designed to develop the effective and appropriate
use of English for the purpose of communicating information in
both oral and written forms at an Introductory English Stage. NC ENGLISH IIIThis course is designed to develop the effective and appropriate
use of English for the purpose of communicating information in
both oral and written forms at an Elementary English Stage. NC ENGLISH IVThis course is designed to develop the effective and appropriate
use of English for the purpose of communicating information in
both oral and written forms at a Pre-Intermediate Stage. NC ENGLISH VThis course is designed to develop the effective and appropriate
use of English for the purpose of communicating information in
both oral and written forms at an Intermediate Stage. NC COMMUNICATION SKILLSAt this stage candidates are expected to have covered most of
the grammatical and syntactical structures used in the English
language. They should also be able to understand and use
idiomatic English to some extent. NC COMPOSITION AND COMPREHENSIONThis stage is intended for advanced candidates almost ready for
college work. At this stage candidates are expected to have
covered all the grammatical and syntactical structures used in
the English Language. They should also be able to understand
and use idiomatic English.
