N.C. BUSINESS MATHEMATICS
To give the student a foundation in mathematics sufficient for
the study at degree level.
N.C. BUSINESS STUDIES & PUBLIC RELATIONS
To give the student knowledge and understanding of the
practices of business organizations from their economic,
environmental and social aspects, and to develop their skills of
analysis, evaluation and synthesis in business settings.
N.C. ENGLISH FOR BUSINESS
The course is designed to develop the effective and appropriate
use of English for the purpose of communicating information.
Interviewing, preparing a Curriculum Vitae and business letters
will be included.
N.C. ENGLISH LANGUAGE I
This course is designed to develop the effective and appropriate
use of English for the purpose of communicating information in
both oral and written forms at an Intermediate Stage.
N.C. COMPUTING/TYPEWRITING
To give the student knowledge and understanding of computers
and their uses, particularly as applied to engineering sufficient
for the study at degree level of computer science. Also to give
the student the ability to carry out simple programming and
system development problems.
N.C. ENGLISH LANGUAGE II
At this stage candidates are expected to have covered most of
the grammatical and syntactical structures used in the English
language. They should also be able to understand and use
idiomatic English to some extent.
N.C. ENGLISH LANGUAGE III
This stage is intended for advanced candidates almost ready for
college work. At this stage candidates are expected to have
covered all the grammatical and syntactical structures used in
the English Language. They should also be able to understand
and use idiomatic English.
N.C. ACCOUNTING
The objective of this course is to introduce students to the
environment of Accounting. The Accounting cycle as well as the
various subsidiary books, partnerships, Limited Company,
Accounts as well as special areas in Accounting as follows are a
main part of this course. More specifically the following areas
will be covered.
N.C. GREEK LANGUAGE
The purpose of teaching the Greek language is to help the
foreign students become more aquatinted and familiarized in
the country of their studies making their everyday life more
comfortable and communication at a higher standard in relation
to the rest of their native population.
