Academic Year The academic year consists of two semesters. The Fall Semester, which commences in October and the Spring Semester, which commences in February. Each semester begins with student registration and ends with final examinations.
A separate Summer Semester is offered to students wishing to attend the Foundation Course. This includes intensive English courses that develop student's linguistic skills and their ability to follow regular courses of study.

Registration
Registration is the process by which students apply to study. It is important that they register in good time, so as to avoid problems with their induction into a specific course. Registration dates of each new semester are announced by the end of the previous semester.
Registration Procedures
1. For Business Administration and Computer Studies students prior to the beginning of each semester.
2. For the Secretarial Studies students prior to each academic year.
Assessment
The assessment of students includes results of all written examinations, tests, assignments, projects, attendance at lecture and participation in class.
